Self Promotion Offline Tip #26

Usually I never believed in sweepstakes because I never won any sweepstakes before nor did anyone that I know ever won so I was very skeptical about entering. Little did I know that my fate would change for the better and my belief in sweepstakes has forever changed. In an attempt to rid myself of useless points, I tossed all of my points into a win a free Flip Video sweepstakes. A month later, a package arrived on my footsteps and with disbelief, inside was a free Flip Video and a congratulation letter from the sweepstakes! Sweepstakes are real after all, who knew. Also, just this weekend, my cousin won a LCD TV from a raffle!

#26. Contact small local area businesses such as hair salons, massage parlors, boutiques, banks etc.

See if you can set up a table for 1 week with 3 of your best selling products on it along with some catalogs, fliers, coupons and your business card. Keep a basket on the table for any customer orders which you can follow up on after you return back to pick up your display. Offer the store owner or manager a free gift for allowing you to do this.

You can also offer to donate a prize for a contest if they let you display the prize donated & get a copy of the contestants entry blanks after the promotion closes.

Self Promotion Offline Tip #20

gadgets

It doesn't get any simplier than that

#20. Does your local area tv cable company have a local information channel? Inquire about advertising! These ads will reach thousands of potential buyers for you! I recommend you only use your website address for these types of advertising and not your personal at home address.

How Do Freebie Sites Give Away Free Stuff?

Most freebie sites requires you to complete offers or refer others in order to receive your free gift and the reason for this is because advertisers do not want to pay an excessive amount of money broadcasting on TV when there is an alternative that is not only cheaper but to a target group. Advertisers will allow what we know as incentive sites to advertise to users by allowing users to sign up for their services and by signing up for their services, advertisers will pay the referring incentive site an commission for the referral in which will be used to pay for your free prize. Advertisers are happy, incentive site owners are happy, you the user will also be happy. Everyone gets paid. How much do referrals usually go for? Referral costs depends on the networks but generally a referral will earn you about $35 to $50 so referrals aren't cheap. If you don't like referring others then you can waste your time doing other free stuff like clicking on links for less than a penny a click. The choice is yours.

Freebie International

One of the only downfall for most freebie sites is the fact that most are for US residents only and there's only a few that allow Canadian residents. The few that do allow international users are limited to cash prizes only rather than being able to choose from iPods, various gaming systems, laptops, TVs, and so on. But even then, with the cash that you can acquire, you can buy your own goodies and cash out whenever you like as long as you meet the minimum balance which is most likely $20 USD. So it may not be all that bad afterall for international users.
