Self Promotion Offline Tip #4

Most do not know that in order to successfully receive credit for doing an offer, you should always clear your cookies before you log into a freebie site. It is an absolute must otherwise you will most likely not receive credit for completing an offer. So before you log into a new site, be sure to clear your cookies first. Offers are tracked by cookies so if you are not allowing cookies to be sent then you will most likely not going to receive credit either. So be sure to read the rules on how an offer credits to understand why this is important!

#4. Contact local area bridal supply stores, bridal gown stores, caterers, tux rental centers, wedding dj's etc. Ask them if you can leave your business cards & fliers about the great (Company Name) Bridal Gift Registry for them to give to their customers.

Offer store owners a free gift or a personal discount for helping you spread the word about your business.

Get Credit

One of the many reason people think that freebie sites are a scam is because they do not receive credit for the offer that they complete. However, one of the many reasons why they do not receive credit is because they did not follow the right precautions. So here is a few tips you should follow if you wish to receive credit without any errors.

Get credit for your offers!

Here are tips on how to ensure yourself that you receive credit for offers you complete on any site. There are specific reasons why users don't receive credit so don't be one of them.

1: Before logging into any site, ALWAYS clear your cookies. This is the MAIN problem regarding not getting credit.

2: ALWAYS use Internet Explorer or Firefox. Other browsers have known issues with crediting.

3: ALWAYS make sure your cookies are on the lowest setting to accept them all.

4: DISABLE ANY antivirus, spyware, firewalls, or ad checking software. What a lot of people don't realize is any of these programs can either interfere with the cookies that make an offer track or they can block offer tracking in other ways.

If you do follow these tips and still do not receive credit in the mentioned timeframe then you can submit a support ticket to the site known as Manual Credit Report or MCR for short. In order to submit a MCR, you must provide a copy of the confirmation email that was sent to you when you completed the offer. It also doesn't hurt to take a screenshot of the confirmation screen either because sometimes you will not receive a confirmation email. The more supporting evidence that you can provide the better.

Alpha Omega Oh Mama!

It has come to my attention that a long time incentive site will be closing its doors officially on December 15th,2008. It has been around for years but unfortunately it has been forced to shut down. The owner, Benjette has not released as to why she is shutting the site down but for most sites, it is mainly due to scammers and users committing fraud and of course personal reasons. Fraud really ruins the freebie market because fraud may not always be caught at first so some scammers are able to cash out before it happens and when the affiliates notice the fraud that went on the affiliates would ultimately revoke the credit that was given and thus refuse to pay the site owners which ends up as a double whammy loss to the site owners. You may think that you're only really screwing the site owners over but really you're screwing everyone over including yourself because you will be marked and banned as a scammer and some networks will go and prosecute you for committing a crime. Anyways, back to Benjette, her site AnyGift4Free has settled as a grade B site and have given out a number of freebies. I have completed a few AnyGift4Free sites myself so I am sad to see it go. Thank you Benjette and AnyGift4Free for everything you have done!

In spite of it all, another incentive site has announced its revamp in motion. Peter of Free4Me has announced that Free4Me will receive a whole new face lift and will be moving to a whole new system. I wonder what this new system has in stored for us all! It has been announced that all pending referral credits have to hurry up and obtain their credit because only credits will transfer over to the new systems. You will keep your greens and your referrals so don't worry! As long as they receive credit that is. So hurry up and get those referrals to green!

Absolutely Free Offers

Most offers that are worth doing do require that you be 18 or older and have access to a credit card. However, there are offers out there that do not require the use of a credit card also known as non CC offers. The only downside is that you would most likely have to do a few non CC for it to be equivalent of one CC offer. For instance, there can be an offer that would credit you 1 full credit for completing that one offer whereas you might run into non CC offers that would only credit you 1/4 credit. So in order to obtain one full credit and moving one step closer to obtaining your free gift, you would have to complete a total of 4 non CC offers for that one full credit. Non CC offers usually asks you to sign up for a sweepstakes, complete a survey, or sign up for a site. They're fast and easy and won't cost you a penny. The choice is yours but remember you have to input real information otherwise you would be committing fraud and you accounts will be put on hold.

Santa's Not Going Worldwide

It has come to my attention that SantasGiftsAllYear.com will no longer be available to international users as its international site has been pulled. The reason for the shut down of the international site was due to potential fraud because it is harder to fight against fraud overseas since being in the US we can easily verify the existence of a user's information. Don't fret at the shut down of the international site because all international users have been paid in full for their credits and referrals. So all is well and Santa's going to be giving out free greens for everyone that signs up for any of Santa's sites as long as you are not being referred under anyone. Free greens means that you would not have to do an offer yourself so all you have to do next is to refer others to sign under you and do offers and your free gift will soon be yours. Hurry and get your free greens for the month of December because an awesome promotion like this won't last forever and also be included in the sweepstakes.
