Self Promotion Offline Tip #43

Stay tune for more updates!

#43. Get a license plate made up for your vehicle! If you have your normal license plate on the back of your car, put your business named one on the front of the car!

You can get one with just your business name on it for about $20-$30 per plate!

Self Promotion Offline Tip #39

I do apologize for not updating for so long but I have been busy promoting myself which you all should be doing as well!  You can't rely on others to spread your business for you because you have to actively be doing it yourself because no one knows about your business more than you.  So get on out there and do something!

#39. Get your business info printed up on balloons! This is very economical to do! You then distribute them to local community centers, sporting events and other types of places where parents book their childrens birthday parties!

These balloons can be displayed at the birthday party giving you business exposure. You can usually get them done for .3-.8 cents each. Your business name & website address is all you need on them!

Self Promotion Offline Tip #16

I'm sure there are still a number of you that still do not trust freebie sites and do not feel comfortable referring others to join under you. Luckily for you, there are Do It Yourself sites also known as DIY for short. There is no need to refer anyone but if you do refer others under you then you do earn a 10% bonus on your referral earnings. This is good for those that would want to test out freebie sites before letting others join in under them. It is a good way to earn some free cash especially for those that do not trust completing offers that require a credit card. There are surveys you can fill out for cash or even be paid to sign up for free memberships on certain websites. Don't wait for referrals to come to you, just do it yourself!

Self Promotion Offline Tip #15

So many offers to choose from isn't there? So which one should you do? Personally, I enjoy signing up for online trial offers like eFax, Blockbuster, Netflix, and so on. Why? Because if you decide to cancel your membership during the trial period, you can cancel online whereas there are other offers that will ship you a physical item which you would have to ship back to them if you decide to cancel. You would have to pay for your own shipping costs and if you may also be slapped with a 15% restocking fee so that's a double whammy. I like to keep things in the cyber world because it's cheap.

#15. Call your Local Area Colleges and find out when their next job/employment fair is. A lot of times you can get a booth or table for less than $35 and you will get a lot of GREAT new recruit leads by participating in events like these.

Self Promotion Offline Tip #9

It is important that you do not cancel an offer just after signing up because it may be considered as committing fraud so please try to choose offers that really interest you and give them a fair trial. If you are not satisfied completely then you may go ahead and cancel your trial offer. Remember, if you do an offer with intent to cancel then it is fraud and a company can usually tell if you cancel too quickly without trying their service or even receiving their product. A trial period on anything means that you actually have to try the service or product.

#9. Contact your local area Welcome Wagon or Welcome to the Neighborhood Group! Ask them about you leaving mini catalogs, fliers, business cards, discount coupons, freebie mini gifts, etc with them.

They are always looking for additional items to place in their Welcome Bags!

Self Promotion Offline Tip #8

When it comes to freebie sites, it is important to keep in mind of your IP. Why? Because whenever you log into your site, your IP will be tracked as a way to catch those with multiple accounts. Even living in an apartment building where another user lives could possibly cause problems for the both of you if you are either signing in your sites using the same IP or the same home address. So remember, only log into your sites on your own personal computer and on your own IP only. Don't be tempted to check your site when you're at school, at a friend's house, relative's house, cyber cafe, because you will run into trouble later on.

#8. College Campuses! Dorms & Housing Students are always looking to spend money! Alot of college students are also looking for an extra income so target them with the business opportunity too!

Drop off fliers and business cards to the College Student Center! They usually have bulletin boards, tables and other things where you can leave your information at for FREE!

Self Promotion Offline Tip #2

In a series of self promotion offline tips, you will see that obtaining referrals is easier than you have ever thought! You may even realize that obtaining referrals is easy. Anyone can bring in referrals, but the hard part is getting your referrals to complete offers! If your referrals do not complete offers then you won't receive credit either which also means your referrals also won't be one step closer to their prize. Most referrals do not realize that there are a good number of useful offers out there for them to choose from. I for one was glad to have an offer like eFax because not only did I complete my offer but I also received credit for the offer thus making me one step closer to my free prize! Yes, I did keep eFax even after the trial because I needed a fax for my business anyways.

#2. When I stay at hotels & motels I leave a mini catalog, my business card & discount coupon and the mini coin canister for the maid! I put her tip inside the mini coin canister! I have gotten 3 orders by doing this!

Be creative when you leave tips for Hotel Maids, Waitresses, Waiters, Hair Dressers, etc. Don't just hand them your business card, make it memorable!

You can also buy cute little beaded change purses at your local dollar discount store!

E-Processors

There are many e-processors out there you can choose from when it comes to handling your money online. You have your main stream Paypal, which is highly used among consumers and e-merchants. You then have your less main stream choices like e-gold, Liberty Reserve, etc. With so many to choose from which one should you choose to use? Some would say don't go to Paypal because it's so mainstream which makes you a target for hackers but at the same time choosing a non universal one would make it hard to buy products from e-merchants because they would most likely only accept Paypal out of all other e-processors. Paypal may be very popular but at least you can have the sense of security that the company itself would be around for years to come. Altergold, a less mainstream e-processor turned out to be nothing but a scam and thus alot of users have lost their funds because they can't withdraw their money since the company ran off with their funds. Before you pick a company, do your research.

Santa's Going Worldwide Afterall

It was announced earlier that SantasGiftsAllYear closed its international site which disappointed alot of worldwide users because there are not many freebie sites out there for international users. Most freebie sites are only open to US and Canadian residents but even Canadians are limited on most networks. So not to disappoint the world, there is now a site open for users from all countries! The international site from SantasGiftsAllYear is also known as the Do It Yourself or DIY for short meaning you do not have to refer anyone in order to receive your free money. You can do the offers yourself but there is an incentive in referring others because you will receive 10% of your referral's earnings. So, users of the world, come one and all because Santa is waiting for you!

Make Money Online Passively

Contrary to the belief, you can make money online without have to do much work. For instance, you can join in on GPT sites and either click away aimlessly for hours, days, weeks, and months to only make a few dollars. Or you can get paid to post on forums or do surveys for some chump change. It's alot of work that you have to keep at constantly but there's another way to make money without having to go through all the work on a daily basis. You can join sites like Associated Content and write articles for either payment or bonus view pay. Not only will you be paid for your articles if they are accepted but even if they're not accepted for pay you can earn money from view bonuses. The more views you get, the bigger the bonus every month. The page views comes easily so you don't have to do much promoting because the readers will all come on their own. You can write a few articles and just leave it and never have to write another article because you will still collect your bonuses every month. You do however have to sign into your account every 90 days to keep your account still active. Check it out and see if you like it.

The Online GPT Market

There are so many ways to make money online that it is insane! You have your usual GPT incentive sites with your usual trial offers. You also have your choice of doing online surveys for money. Next comes writing online articles and even blogging for money. There is even forums where you can earn money from posting on their forums where the usual pay rate is between 3 to 9 cents a post but if you are a active online forum poster then your online hobby can earn you a large chunk of change. I will list some legit pay forums in a later blog. The new online market has grown so much that now people are actually renting other people's forum signature's space for a fee! I always knew about link swapping and banners but this is the first time that I have heard of buying someone's signature. It just goes to shows you that you can pretty much sell anything to advertise on.

Custom Gifts

As you may know, there are a ton of incentive sites out there and each catering to a certain genre of gifts and not all sites and networks are repeatable. With sites and networks where you can only do each of their sites once, what happens when you want to do a certain site but do not like the gift that is being offered? One word, custom. Most sites have the option of allowing you to choose your own custom gift if you do not like the gift options. For instance, let's say you signed up for YourPS34Free from Trainn but do not want any of the PS3 options but you want your free gift. You should open a support ticket requesting a custom gift of the same value. So let's say your earned PS3 gift was about $500 so you could option for an iPhone instead. So don't think that if you sign up for a certain prized site that you are stuck with limited options.

Alpha Omega Oh Mama!

It has come to my attention that a long time incentive site will be closing its doors officially on December 15th,2008. It has been around for years but unfortunately it has been forced to shut down. The owner, Benjette has not released as to why she is shutting the site down but for most sites, it is mainly due to scammers and users committing fraud and of course personal reasons. Fraud really ruins the freebie market because fraud may not always be caught at first so some scammers are able to cash out before it happens and when the affiliates notice the fraud that went on the affiliates would ultimately revoke the credit that was given and thus refuse to pay the site owners which ends up as a double whammy loss to the site owners. You may think that you're only really screwing the site owners over but really you're screwing everyone over including yourself because you will be marked and banned as a scammer and some networks will go and prosecute you for committing a crime. Anyways, back to Benjette, her site AnyGift4Free has settled as a grade B site and have given out a number of freebies. I have completed a few AnyGift4Free sites myself so I am sad to see it go. Thank you Benjette and AnyGift4Free for everything you have done!

In spite of it all, another incentive site has announced its revamp in motion. Peter of Free4Me has announced that Free4Me will receive a whole new face lift and will be moving to a whole new system. I wonder what this new system has in stored for us all! It has been announced that all pending referral credits have to hurry up and obtain their credit because only credits will transfer over to the new systems. You will keep your greens and your referrals so don't worry! As long as they receive credit that is. So hurry up and get those referrals to green!

Absolutely Free Offers

Most offers that are worth doing do require that you be 18 or older and have access to a credit card. However, there are offers out there that do not require the use of a credit card also known as non CC offers. The only downside is that you would most likely have to do a few non CC for it to be equivalent of one CC offer. For instance, there can be an offer that would credit you 1 full credit for completing that one offer whereas you might run into non CC offers that would only credit you 1/4 credit. So in order to obtain one full credit and moving one step closer to obtaining your free gift, you would have to complete a total of 4 non CC offers for that one full credit. Non CC offers usually asks you to sign up for a sweepstakes, complete a survey, or sign up for a site. They're fast and easy and won't cost you a penny. The choice is yours but remember you have to input real information otherwise you would be committing fraud and you accounts will be put on hold.

Beware of Shady Offers

For those that are considering doing a number of sites or even swapping sites, you should be cautious of which offers you sign up for. Some offers have certain clauses located in their terms of service in which most people would overlook and not bother reading. Networks like Pacific Web Works have a clause where you can only do one of their offers so if you choose to do one then you cannot do any other to receive credit for it. You can complain that you did not receive credit but there's nothing you can do because it's in the terms that you are only allowed to do one offer from them. Other offers may have the clause where you sign up for a trial product but would charge you extra fees or even restocking fees so watch out for those offers as well. Your best resources for offers ratings and reviews would be from the list of forums that I have listed in my previous posts. You can find a link to those sites in my links menu as well. Of course the best offers are the free offers or the cheap offers where you do not have to ship anything back if you decide to cancel. Read any reviews, before you do any offers.

Battle of the Network Owners

What do you look for in a network? Best customer support? Best gifts selection? Best referral/cash ratio? Best selection of offers? Sure, all are important but the most important factor in selecting a freebie site is the site owner's involvement. A site should not be run solely by its managers while the owner racks up all the cash. The site owner should do plenty and I do mean plenty of PR and be involved in every aspect of the business. Peter from Free4Me and Alan from Trainn are one of the best site owners out there. They are very involved and do not rely sole on their managers to handle all of their customer support. You can easily contact them if you wanted to and it wouldn't take you days of waiting either. They're there and they're answering your concerns.

Step 1, Step 2, Step Free

Freebie Gossip here and am ready to jump back into the freebie trading world. It has been over a year since I had done a referral swap so it's about time that I get back in the game because I'm on page 3 on the top traders list now so that's a total no no. Besides, I have 2 more sites that I want to finish and collect my $900 or so. Mama wants her PS3 baby.
